Brickwork, Paving, and Planters with a Contemporary Poolside Area

Our clients on this project wanted to revamp their pool area and create a low-maintenance garden to suit their busy lifestyles in Adelaide. We met with the challenge of creating a front and back garden in the same area as the residence at the back of the block. We achieved this by building retaining walls that create layers in the garden and shape large planters and separate the entrance pathway to the entertaining areas. The red brick used to build the home was complemented by reclaiming old red bricks to build large steps and create scale to the project. The grey pavers in the pool area were chosen to balance the slate copping around the pool and create a contemporary feel. The transportable planters in the pool area provide colour contrast and add height to the space.
